Since late November, they have liberated key cities, including Aleppo and Hama, in a significant push against Assad's forces. These victories demonstrate not only the revolutionaries' strength and resilience but also the growing fragility of the regime.
Economic collapse, public dissent, and reduced international support—particularly from Russia, which is stretched thin by its conflict in Ukraine—have further weakened Assad's hold. The revolutionaries are working to establish order and transition in liberated areas, setting the stage for a brighter future.
